MEMBER DISTRICTS

STRONGER TOGETHER

Runestone Area Education District in partnership with the school districts of Alexandria, Brandon-Evansville, Minnewaska, Osakis and Parkers Prairie work together to serve our special education students. We believe students who receive the appropriate help and support can develop the skills necessary to keep pace with traditional classroom settings. We aim to teach all of our students how to leverage their strengths in areas that may be difficult, and how to search for the tools in order to to succeed.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Runestone Area Education District is governed by a five member Board of Directors with one board member from each of the participating schools appointed to the RAED Board by their respective boards.

The superintendents from each district are ex-officio members.

OPERATION ROUND UP!

Tasha Olson, RAED Physical Therapist applied for the grant to help purchase therapy equipment to support the RAED school districts and the students we serve.

RUNESTONE ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL

Alternative schools can be a great, and even life-changing, option for students who haven't thrived in traditional high schools.

The RAS uses a more non-traditional method of teaching and we are able to be flexible in accommodating student needs.

Our logo consists of a circle of five conjoined, multi-colored students. The colors are representative of the RAED five member districts school colors and signify the coming together of the five entities to serve students with programming and supports.
